Rental for a maximum of 10 people accomodation :

At the 1st floor :
- a large bedroom (monumental chimney) with a double bed (or two single beds) and a private bathroom, a dressing room and WC (Hippolyte);
- a large bedroom with a double bed (Charlotte);
- a little twin bedroom (Isabelle);
- a shower room, with double lavabos and WC.

At the 2nd floor :
- a large bedroom with a double bed (or two single beds) (Louise);
- a little twin bedroom (Marie);
- a bathroom, with double lavabos and WC.

Towels and sheets are provided.

- the kitchen is fully equipped ;
- a dining room ;
- a game room ;
- a large living room at first floor with stone staircase and monumental chimney (TV room).

The thick walls allow to keep the freshness in summer.

Exterior

The 8 acres garden offers you the pleasure of silence and nature, with shaded parts :
- a private closed pool 6m x 9m, with stairs ;
- a ping pong table ;
- a barbecue ;
- a swing ;
- a place to park cars.

History

Puymangou is a mansion which belonged to historical family.
The 15th century manor was extended on 17th century as a classical little chateau by Roger Bouchard d'Esparbes d'Aubeterre, Comte de Lussan, son of Marechal d'Aubeterre, who installed magnificent stone fireplaces.

This castle, which had been neglected, was the object of an important restoration during the last two decades and was awarded by the 'Vieilles Maisons Françaises' association. You will find in a booklet the story of this adventure...

Miscellaneous

The manor is equipped with Internet, Wi-Fi, satellite TV HD and DVD player.

We accept pets as far as they are raised well and less numerous and after we are informed about their characteristics.

An extremity of the manor house remains private. We occupy it in total discretion and independence (different access ; small independant garden ; swimming pool and grounds completely reserved for the tenants ; our presence is not continuous).
